I've been struggling the past several weeks with viral laryngitis. Because of that, I did not make a video for the month of March. But there's still a collective reading for you!
I'm going old school this month and creating a written version. Next month, everything should be back to normal. Thanks for your patience.
This month is about making room for change and transformation. You're growing emotionally and professionally and it's time to let go of the past. Baggage is slowing you down, but you need to make the choice to let it go. No one can do this for you.
Remember, always tend to your own mental, emotional and physical well-being. If you need support of any kind, from a writing journal, to a friend, to a spiritual counselor, to a professional in medicine, therapy, or finances, PLEASE and ALWAYS seek the assistance you need.
Right now:
Under the handle shows you as you are in the world currently. There is a large open space. This means you might be redefining yourself and looking for new ways to show up in the world.
This cup has three different moon phases and the first one shows up here. It is a waning crescent. That happens March 5th-8th. There's an arrow indicating that you pay extra attention to the date of the waning crescent moon. It could be that some important revolution about yourself will happen around that time.
Underneath that are two llamas talking. Spiritually, the llama is about knowledge and strength. It could be that you and someone close to you have been persevering. You have been working hard, and the knowledge you need to move forward in life has finally come through. Llamas are animals that climb, they go up and up and up. Underneath the two llamas is the letter U. One of the llamas is absolutely you. The other person is someone close to home. There is a house sitting directly on top of one of the llamas. This may mean someone you live with or someone that's part of your everyday life. tThe two of you are in some kind of partnership that is going the distance, and you've both invested time and love.
Emotional World:
Moving into the Emotional Side of the cup, which rules the people in your life, and your feelings, there is a lot of open space initially with just a little bit of scatter creating a boundary line. It means that you're opening up and allowing new things. However, you have learned to set boundaries and it's a good thing. Having solid boundaries and knowing what you want is the perfect way to go forward in the month of March.
Next and one of the largest aspects on the cup is the number 11. 11 in numerology is a master number. It's a gateway to bigger knowledge and more vision for your own future. Seeing this as such, a large part of the cup tells me that early in the month you're definitely going to be defining what you want and moving forward to go after it. You're making plans right now.
You know there's more work to do and that's perfectly okay. In fact, I would say there's definitely work to do because as we move around the edge of the cup we see two hammers. When there are tools in a cup, it's always about the things you still have to work on. The first and larger of the two hammers is showing up with a key. You have to work on unlocking the pieces of yourself that you don't want to embrace. If you want to move forward, you will have to unlock a few of those old, dusty doors in your soul and release the things pent up there. It could even be literally releasing physical things that are cluttering up your life.
This hammer is right next to another one of the moon phases. This one is the waxing gibbous and it will occur March 19th-23rd. Use this as a time marker for trying to get through the things that you need to accomplish.
The next hammer is smaller and shows up next to two hearts. It could be that there is a partnership or family member, someone you love, and the relationship really needs a little more work from you. This is not a criticism ~ it's a positive thing to admit that you have work to do on your relationships. In fact, I'd say it's an enlightened way to look at love connections. Always remember to hold up your end and do the things you need to do to create a healthy connection.
All around these symbols is a lot of scatter and even a little bit of hard blockage. As you're going through the transitions of March, redefining yourself and your priorities for the rest of the year, you're definitely going to feel a bit of instability. You may even feel resistance. It might be coming from yourself, though. Don't forget to ask the hard questions and understand that sometimes, it's okay to release your fears.
On the flip side of that blockage, there is opportunity. A triangle is showing up under one of the blockages and there's a smaller one in front of it. It tells me that as you overcome the things holding you back in your emotional world, good things are on the other side.
It's very possible that some of the blockage that you're experiencing has to do with experiences and people from the past.
The largest symbol in the cup this month is a T-Rex. Dinosaurs show up because there are unresolved pieces of our past that it's time to face. Now is the time to turn around and look at what's behind you. If you can face down this T-Rex, on his back is a bird about to fly. As soon as you can take the necessary real life steps to let go of the past, whatever that might mean to you, it's going to feel like you have wings. T-Rex is carrying a big lock on its back. It's going to feel next to impossible when you start to unpack the past. I encourage you in whatever way feels healthy for you, to continue to go through it. This is going to allow you to move through that gateway, towards the magical number 11 you are destined for.
Around T-Rex's feet are two more triangles and then right behind, yet another triangle. Beyond T-Rex there's also an elephant. The elephant tells me that you will be acquiring new wisdom, perhaps to do with a family situation, once you release the T-Rex into the past. Just think about it for a second: if you're carrying a T-Rex around with you, that's a lot of extra. Imagine how much more easily things will flow for you if you set your T-Rex free?
Moving past T-Rex is the first of three literal gateways in this cup. Once again, you are definitely moving forward this month. As we get into the back of the cup, there's another small triangle meaning more opportunities are coming!
What lies ahead?
At the back of the cup is the column representing the future you're moving towards. It's showing up with a big fox, mid-stride, running. Foxes can mean that you are feeling quite cunning and capable ~ confident. You are able to handle things easily and in stride.
There are two reversed number twos here as well. You are seriously questioning two different relationships or partnerships. Keep thinking about it, and know that one of them might be hiding something. It's showing up just next to a trail leading to headphones. Meaning there's something you haven't heard yet about that relationship. Remember that pretending you don't know something doesn't change its impact on your life, for better or worse.
Underneath that, a square is starting to form as well as another triangle. The triangle is about more fantastic new opportunities to come. These are definitely showing up for you in both your emotional and material world. I encourage you to use discernment as you pick situations for yourself and to always remember to move towards your own highest good.
The square is about stability. It's not here yet and it hasn't actually firmed up. However it's going to if you keep moving forward. Take care of yourself, and prioritize your own needs. Especially in your material life.
Your Material World:
Moving around to the material side of the cup. This is about your job, education, home, car, and any other things that make up your material life. It starts out with a few different symbols stuck under a blockage. There's a lot of open space at the top telling me you are ready for change and making room for it. That might mean a change of job, a change of address, a new vehicle, or switching gears in your education. However this resonates for you, remember to pick what you love. This is emphasized by a large heart within the blockage and another heart forming underneath.
The blockage is about the areas where you're feeling stuck or even stubborn. This is attached to the head of a bull. This could be a literal Taurus person in your life. However, it can also be just the bull-headedness that show up in all of us. What I'm saying is, are you creating your own blockage by not being willing to try new things or turn a different direction? No need to answer. Reflect on it and decide if there is any way in which you could allow yourself to go towards the dreams you want to manifest in your material life. And when I say that, I mean not just wishing for it, but actually going after it. Are there any actions steps that you're simply not making?
Underneath the first blockage there's a bird soaring. It tells me you are ready to take off, but because the bird is underneath the blockage you haven't quite gotten there yet. There's also a set of eyes. Others are watching you. They're waiting to see what you do and the actions you're going to take. It does not feel menacing! It feels like maybe more people are watching or even looking up to you than you realize.
About halfway back the material side of the cup is a duck with a partially formed square. Ducks are about being capable and knowing you already have the skills you need to accomplish your goals. Together, these symbols are about having enough faith in yourself to reach that stability you want. It tells me you already have the skills, you are already very capable. Take a breath, and realize: you've got this. You just have to trust yourself a little more.
Beyond that is another large blockage. It's one of the thicker blockages in the cup and underneath of it is the word art, A-R-T. Whether you want more creativity in your life, wish you could purchase more fine art for your collection, or just our dreaming of a more beautiful world, think about what art means to you. It could be about baking or dance or crafts or clothing or gardening or writing or any other creative passion. Underneath the blockage, the answer is be more creative. At the end of that blockage is yet another gateway. This gateway is saying to level up, you're going to have to be creative.
Next is the letter Y. This could be your initial or that of a person, place, thing, or event in your life. If that's not the case, I encourage you to look at it as the question, why. Why do you want to things you want? Why do you care about the things you care about? What's important to you? And how can you live in more alignment with that answer? Consider this in a real world, actual steps way. Remember, small steps are what makeup the entire journey.
The last symbols on the material side of the cup are a large stretching cat and triangle. This cat looks like it's just waking up from a nap. This might very well be you, finally waking up to the material life elements that are really important to you. Underneath the cat and beyond a little bit of scatter (confusion) is a much larger triangle. This triangle is not fully formed but is coming in strong. The opportunity to move forward in your material life by the end of the month of March looks very positive. Be sure to keep aligning with what you truly want and understand why. Understand your purpose.
Beyond March:
In the bottom of the cup, we are looking forward, past March. The first and biggest symbol is another gateway. Inside of the gateway, another backwards two and there's a ? next to it. We also have a pot cooking and another eye, this one is showing up with a heart. The final moon phase appears here as well, the waxing crescent. The next waxing crescent is April 10th through 14th.
The eye watching over you is observing with love. This isn't something creepy. Perhaps you are being divinely guided by an ancestor or guide. The pot means more good things are cooking up for you. Be patient and follow the recipe you have created for your life. Keep stirring your pot and everything is going to come out beautifully. The gateway with the reversed number two, again. Since the two is backwards, I encourage you to examine partnerships and make sure that they are all serving you as you go into the next phase of your life. If there are people, situations, or partnerships that are not supporting you, see if you can end them ~ or at least minimize them in your life.
The overall message of the month:
March is about change. You're growing and finding a new path forward. This is a good thing, and you're making space for the new, however, remember to understand and align with your own purpose. Not sure what that is? It's a good time to hit the brakes and figure out what you really want, then make an action plan to get after it.
